In State Travel
Horses being transported within the state of Kentucky require a current negative coggins test, also called Equine Infectious Anemia Test, (within 12 months) and a Certificate of Veterinary inspection (CVI), also known as a health certificate. In-state health certificates are valid for up to 12 months or until the coggins test expires.
Horses Traveling Into Kentucky
Horses being transported into or through the state of Kentucky must have a current negative coggins test, also called Equine Infectious Anemia Test, (within 12 months) and a certificate of veterinary inspection (CVI), also known as a health certificate. Out-of-state health certificates are valid for up to 30 days and shall state the location of origination and final destination.
Campers are required to bring an eligible certificate of proof with them for the horse they are bringing. If no proof is shown, their reservation will not be honored.
Campers with Horses only
An extra $2.00 per horse per day will be collected at the campground.
